Nina applied for our graduate program to broaden her skill set and gain a well-rounded experience in project management. “After learning about the company’s reputation and the opportunities within the graduate program, I knew it was the perfect fit to expand my skill set and industry knowledge” said Nina.

Importantly, the program gave Nina hands-on experience from day one, quickly allowing her to build confidence and establish a strong professional network.

One of the most impactful moments for Nina from the program was working was working on the Ormiston Hospital project as part of a highly collaborative and well-structured construction design team.

“It was an incredible learning experience - balancing responsibilities, aligning strengths with team members, and understanding the dynamics of a successful project. That experience has shaped my approach to teamwork and project delivery ever since.”

Nina’s advice to future grads? "Take the time to understand construction and design programs, as well as key project milestones. You may need to go beyond your university coursework - consider enrolling in a design methodology course in your final year to strengthen your foundation. Coming straight out of university, you won’t know everything, and that’s okay. Be open to learning, embrace challenges, and focus on building your confidence in a professional environment."
