Johnstaff’s engagement commenced in the Detailed Business Case phase to manage development of Business Case inputs. Our role has continued beyond the Detailed Business Case to provide project management services for the design, procurement, and construction phases of the Manukau Health Park project.
Our structured Programme Planner and Project Management services delivered a new two-story building which includes Radiology, Breast Care and Renal services. A new standalone surgical centre with four Operating Theatres, PACU and CSSD, and a separate new Outpatients building providing Women’s Health and Ophthalmology Services.
Our team managed the staged refurbishment and expansion of Paediatrics, General Surgery, Pre-Admission, Phlebotomy, Orthopaedics, Urology and Medicine outpatient services.
Johnstaff’s engagement in the early phases of this project was critical for the client, to manage the budget, establish a delivery programme and ensured stakeholder requirements were captured to achieve the objectives of each services Functional Brief and Model of Care.
Our team planned and managed twelve different clinical stakeholder streams to work through the scope and design of the new-build projects and staged refurbishment works.
This required rigorous planning, staging and cost testing to ensure that the scope was delivered within budget, programme and ensure a quality product is provided to Health New Zealand Counties Manukau.
