Project Manager and Superintendent
Johnstaff Projects have acted as Project Manager for Stages 1, 2 and 3 of a major redevelopment of one of Melbourne’s two trauma hospitals. The recently completed Stage 3 Redevelopment comprised new ward accommodation, establishment of a rooftop trauma helipad and associated lifts and necessary upgrades of infrastructure. The project included significant decanting works and consultation with not only hospital staff, but local resident groups, council and authorities.
To facilitate the construction of the new Royal Women’s Hospital at the RMH site, Johnstaff Projects acted as Project Manager for the RWH Enabling Works projects involving the construction of new and refurbished clinical and office accommodation to allow demolition of the 10 storey Charles Connibere building.
More recently Johnstaff Projects acted as Project Manager for the preparation of a full Master Plan for Melbourne Health’s RMH and Parkville campuses.
Johnstaff Projects is currently acting as Project Manager for the highly complex Emergency Department Redevelopment ($56m) and Façade Replacement projects.
