NEW PROJECTS Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
We are delighted to announce that the company has been engaged
as the Project Manager for the prestigious redevelopment
for the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. Executive
level meeting
have commenced and the first planning workshops will commence
in August for the redevelopment valued at up to $200m.
Johnstaff Projects nominated personnel are Michael Higgs – Project
Director supported by Tim McCue, Emma McCue, Gordon Findlay
and Kristin Lynch.
National Biosecurity Centre
Johnstaff Projects are also delighted to be appointed as the Project
Manager for the development of a proposed National Biosecurity
Centre
at LaTrobe University. This project also valued at up to
$200m will strengthen Australia’s preparedness
to meet biosecurity and bioterrorism threats and will
comprise a nucleus of scientists
from the Victorian Department of Primary Industries which
with Partners, will achieve a critical mass of around
500 scientists.
Johnstaff Projects personnel comprise Phil Johnston – Project
Director, supported by Tim McCue, Anna Hoban and Gordon
Findlay.
Redevelopment of Frankston Hospital
The company has also recently been appointed to the role
of Project Manager for the redevelopment of Frankston
Hospital for Peninsula
Health. This project valued at $40m follows the company’s
current involvement with the radiology upgrade on the Frankston
campus.
NEW STAFF
Johnstaff Projects welcome the following new staff to the team:
Emma
McCue
Emma joined the company in August 2005. Apart from her
experience in construction and project management
Emma has also gained
extensive experience with Partnership Victoria projects
whilst employed
by Major Projects Victoria prior to joining Johnstaff Projects.
Jack
Sullivan
Jack Sullivan has recently joined Johnstaff Projects as project
engineer and is currently working on the Royal Children’s Hospital
MRI Ward development. As Johnstaff Projects are also the Construction
Managers on the MRI project, Jack is also providing building
supervision and trade coordination.
